Ronald E. Menge, Sr., 72, of Rockford, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019 in his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born on July 13, 1946 in Belvidere to Raymond and Marjorie Menge. Ronald enjoyed PBR (Pabst Blue Ribbon) as well as hunting and fishing. He was the owner of Ron’s Flambeau River Resort in Bruce, Wisconsin. He also worked as a dairy farmer and truck driver. He was loved and will be missed dearly by all.

He is survived by sisters, Joy Roeger and Sandy Russel; children, Ronald Jr., Dusty (Tammy) Menge and Jennifer (Paul) Sanders and their mother, Judith Smith; grandchildren, Tyler, Allison, Dylan, Ryan Menge, Katelyn, Kyle and Keith Sanders; great-grandchildren, Payton, Madison, Ava Menge and Brooklyn Sanders all of Belvidere; loving partner, Thelma Menge; step-children, Tina, Jason, Michael, David Withrow, and Shelia Henneberry; as well as 15 step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by parents, Ray and Marge Menge of Belvidere.

Interment will be private. A celebration of his life to be announced at a later date.
