Richard J. Bartlett

Richard J. Bartlett, 80, of Roscoe, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019. He married Jacqueline Lowe and they spent 57 years together. Richard enjoyed owning and operating his business. He had a passion for Cars, especially British Classic Cars. He was a member of the Boots and Bonnets Car Club. He was also a charter member of AMBUCS. Richard was fond of golf, travel, driving, gardening, working in his yard and feeding the birds. He enjoyed his time at his Florida home, looking over the lake on his lanai. He especially enjoyed being at home with his wife and pets. 

Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline; daughter, Julie Weis; grandsons, Bradley and Daniel Weis; sister, June (Geoff) Thompson; nephew, Andrew (Nancy) Thompson; great-niece, Sarah Thompson. Predeceased by parents and nephew, Graham Thompson. 

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:30 to 4:00pm on Saturday, October 26, 2019 in Domenicos, 547 East Grand Avenue, Beloit, WI 53511.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to PAWS Humane Society of Rockford.
