Patty A. Rieffer, 62, of Rockford passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019. Born April 11, 1957 in Mattoon to Harland and Barbara (Arthur) McGlasson. Married Stephen Rieffer on July 10, 1975 in Rockton. Patty enjoyed reading and was known for her kind heart and selflessness.

Survivors include husband, Stephen Rieffer of Rockford; children, Jennifer Wright of Rockford, David Rieffer of Houston, MN; grandchildren, Ashley Wright, Dakota Rieffer, Hayleigh Rieffer; great-grandchild, Jasper on the way; parents, Harland and Barbara McGlasson; and siblings, Cheryl (Ken) Sularz, Vicky (Tim) Hall, Harland McGlasson, Jr., Coni (Dan) Schwandt, Angie (Chuck) Rothenbach. Predeceased by grandparents; and grandson, Daniel.

Private family services are to be held at a later date.
