September 29, 1956 ~ May 16, 2019 (age 62) 62 Years Old

Pamela "Janey" Tuttle Obituary

Pamela "Janey" J. (Hayden) Tuttle, 62, of Machesney Park, lost her courageous battle with cancer on May 16, 2019 at the UW Hospital in Madison, WI.  She was born on September 29, 1956 in Loves Park to Herman and Nelva Hayden. Graduated from Harlem High School in 1974.  She obtained her Masters Degree in Business from Judson University. Employed at Collins Aerospace (Sundstrand) for 35 years.  She married Tom Tuttle in August of 1987.  She was very caring and loyal to her friends and family who will miss her dearly. She was a special person to many. She was a daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, teacher, friend, wife and mother. She was a devoted hockey mom and served as registrar of the Rockford Icemen during several of their championship seasons.  She was involved in the I-Read Program at Parker Center and Rock Cut Elementary Schools and loved teaching children to read. She had a talent and passion for sewing and quilting. She was a member of the Sinnissippi Quilt Guild for many years. She loved traveling with her husband and cheering for the Chicago Blackhawks. 

She is survived by husband Tom; son Nate; and dog, Gus.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Nelva Hayden; and her brother, Randy Harlow.

The family would like to thank all those who sent cards, letters, and texts in her support. A special thanks to friends who visited her at UW Madison during the most difficult times and helped in many ways.

The family would also like to thank the doctors and nurses at UW Madison and Swedish American Cancer Center for their care and support. 

Memorial service will be at 7:00pm with a Visitation from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park.  Burial service will be in Hannibal, Missouri on Thursday, May 23, 2019.
