Nelda Sexton

Nelda Sexton, 80, of Rochelle, passed away Friday, March 30, 2018. She was born on July 15, 1937 in Bald Knob, Arkansas to Morris and Martha (Cooley) Whittaker. Nelda retired from DelMonte Corporation. She loved the Lord and her church where she was a faithful member of Church of Christ. She also loved working with flowers, puzzles and doing bible studies. Nelda especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her favorite places were her home and her church. 

Survivors include her children, Danny Sexton, Karen Jones, Paulette Sexton and Shawn Sexton; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Lois Ellis of Arizona and Wanda Green of Arkansas. Predeceased by her parents; brother, LC; brother, Lloyd. 

A private family graveside will be held at Trinity Memorial Garden.
