Nancy J. Hanson

Nancy J. Hanson, 83, of Rockford, was called upon God to join his heavenly Chorus on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. Nancy was born on March 30, 1936 in Rockford, IL. Beloved wife of William R. Hanson of Rockford, IL. Besides her Husband William, Nancy leaves behind one brother and one sister, one daughter and one Son, seven stepchildren, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, one sister and one son, as well as many dear friends. Nancy and her Husband, William, spent many years together playing music on stage, nursing homes and other venues. Music was her life and she enjoyed sharing her lovely voice with all.

Nancy’s family thanks Mercy Hospice services for their loving and caring services they devoted to Nancy, Alden Debes Nursing Home for the excellent care provided to Nancy in her final days and Honquest Family Funeral Home for their services.

Funeral Service will be at 11:30am with a Visitation from 10:30am until the service on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park, IL 61111.  Burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Rockford, IL.
