Mickey T. Edwards

Mickey T. Edwards, 68, of Rockford, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born on November 21, 1950 in Kennett, Missouri to Tribble and Lucille (Charleston) Edwards. Mickey married Fay Enmon on April 25, 1969. He served in the United States Army from 1970-1972. In 1997 Mickey retired from Sjostrom Construction. He enjoyed mowing, playing Tri-ominoes, Illinois lottery scratch-offs and spending time with his grandchildren. 

Survivors include his wife, Fay; sons, Mark (Cheryl), Greg (Carla) and Shawn (Rachele) Edwards; grandchildren, Chaz, Brooke, Kelsey, Thad, Nick, Kyler and Deegan; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ben, Jim and Jack; sisters, Eva and Sue. Predeceased by his parents; brothers, Dale, Connie and Doc; son, Shane. 

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, Illinois 61111 with Pastor Anthony Maynard officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until time of service.
