Merrill "Bubbles" J. Lungstrom

Merrill "Bubbles" J. Lungstrom, 81, of Belvidere, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2017. He was born on April 15, 1936 in Springfield, Minnesota to Emil and Lottie (Bump) Lungstrom. Bubbles served in The U.S. Army from 1955 to 1956 and enjoyed cooking while he was in the Army. For many years he was a postal carrier for the United States Postal Service. He also loved to bake, especially wedding cakes. He was an auctioneer and raised horses. He was most passionate about his horses. 

Survivors include his brother, Earl (Lois) Lungstrom; sister, Evelyn Sanford; brother, Melvin (JoAnn) Lungstrom; sister, Geraldine Detra. Predeceased by his parents; sister, Edna Morris; brothers, Alvin Lungstrom and Gerald Lungstrom. 

A memorial and graveside service will be held at a later date.
