Maryanne Bruckner

It is with great sadness that the family of Maryanne Bruckner announces her passing on Sunday, May 12, 2019, at the age of 72 years old.  Maryanne will be lovingly remembered and missed, especially by her family.  Survivors include sons, Joe (Delray) Bruckner, Sean (Elaine) Bruckner; grandchildren, Luke and Ty Bruckner; sister, Kathy Winkler; nieces, Melanie (William) Grobe, Kim Winkler, and Raven Winkler; and great nieces and nephews, Josh (Amber) Ergle, Justin Ergle, Jenna Grobe, and Jake Seney. Predeceased by parents, Cyril Francis Lowling and Bernice Isabelle Bouray; brother-in-law Jack Winkler; niece, Marisa Winkler; grandniece, Madelyn Grobe; and her beloved, dog Mugs. Maryanne was born and resided in Rockford, IL.  She attended St. Patrick Elementary school and Muldoon High School. 

Maryanne was devoted to her family and took great pride in raising 2 sons on her own.  She often worked multiple jobs including GC Waldon for over 30 years.  Her strong work ethic was passed on to her boys, whom she was extremely proud of. She loved attending her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events and extracurricular activities.  She enjoyed playing Bunko monthly with her 8 girlfriends for over 30 years.  Her hobbies included gardening, arts and craft fairs, going to garage sales, crossword puzzles and spoiling her grandkids. Maryanne was also an avid reader.  She lived for the Holidays and was happiest when all of the family was spending time together laughing and playing games.

Maryanne is at peace and her love and memories will be with us forever.

Per Maryanne’s wishes, there will be no services.
