The Lund family expresses heartfelt condolence to the family of Marilynn. We were neighbors for many years. Cyndie and Serena enjoyed the many times taking care of Bradley, Brian and at that time baby Jennifer with wonderful memories. You will stay in our prayers.

I was so saddened to hear about Marilyn's passing. My friendship with Marilyn goes way back. I met her at a baby shower when I was in high school. Then we both became nurses. Her smile and positive attitude were contagious. As her children got older, she and Gary built s home right behind ours. For many years we shared many backyard talks. Marilyn was such a good mother, wife, grandmother and friend. She touched countless lives through her nursing career.
Unfortunately. we lost contact when her family moved away but I've always remembered her with a great deal of fondness. My sympathy goes out to Gary and their children and grandchildren. Marilyn definitely left a legacy of love to so many.. she will be greatly missed

Message from Jenny (Van Howe) Avers

Dear Champion Family: I was heart broken to hear that Marilynn passed and had been dealing with some difficult health challenges. She (and you all) were a bright spot in my middle-school and high school years. So many fun sleepovers and hangouts with the Champion family. Marilynn was always welcoming, smiling, kind, and genuinely interested in each one of us teenagers. And then as an adult, seeing her fun and kind Facebook posts, and hearing about events with the grandkids -- so positive and loving. Sending you my deep sympathy as you grieve this tough loss. I hope that you find comfort in her beautiful soul and the legacy she left you all. With love, Jenny (Van Howe) Avers and family

My condolences to the family. She was one of my favorite customers at McDonalds. I remember talking to her on many occasions on my day off. She always had a smile on her face and was a very sweet lady. I will miss seeing her.
