Lisa A. Ruch

​Lisa A. Ruch, 54, of Machesney Park, died as a result of a car accident on January 6, 2020. Lisa was born on September 21, 1965 to Merle and Carol (Nix) Freeze in Rockford, Illinois. She married her best friend, Ken Ruch, on June 18, 1986 in Beloit, Wisconsin. Lisa was a bright light, and always had a smile on her face. She was a natural encourager and a lover of people. If you knew Lisa, you knew that you had a true friend. She lived life fully, sang with all her heart, enjoyed all kinds of crafting, and treasured her golden retrievers the most. She was a longtime member of Central Christian Church in Beloit, Wisconsin, sang on their praise team, and loved Jesus.  She had a strong faith and she is no doubt at home with her Father!  

She was so deeply loved and will be missed by her husband, Ken Ruch; children, Matthew (JoAnne) Ruch, Jessica Kostka, Isaac (Janet) Tumang; grandchildren, Equento, Johanne, Montgomery, Moses, Troy and Joshua. She is also survived by her mother, Carol Freeze; father, Merle (Donna) Freeze; brother, Mike (Audra) Freeze; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and so many treasured family members.
