Linda Kay Castor

Linda Kay Castor, 63, of Machesney Park passed away Monday, February 25, 2019. Born April 20, 1955 in Oregon to George W. and Mary (Miles) Fletcher. Married Romaine Castor, Jr. on March 3, 1973 in Rockford. Employed as an engineer by Taylor Freezer and PDA Associates. Linda loved crafting, taking trips to the casino and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include children, Michelle (Matthew) Wallace, Benjamin (Victoria) Castor; grandchildren, Emma, Katey, Matalin Wallace, Abigail, Taylor Castor; sisters, Carol (Chuck) Sutton, Terri Krueger; and sister-in-law, Jan Fletcher. Predeceased by parents; husband, Romaine; and brother, Dennis Fletcher. Special thanks to Ron and Ruby Castor and to Heartland Hospice and her nurses Korin and Tyson.

Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2019 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe with a visitation from 3:00 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family.
