LeRoy Carlson Obituary

LeRoy R. Carlson, 83, of Rockford, died June 3, 2019. LeRoy was born in Rockford, IL on September 18, 1936 to Gunnard and Martha (Anderson) Carlson. He resided at Rock River Healthcare, Rockford, IL recently until his death. LeRoy served in the USAF and honorably discharged in 1957. He lived the majority of his life in Rockford, IL.

Survived by nieces and nephews, Pamela (Dennis) Shutts, James F. Dennis, Patricia (Dennis) McDonald, Mary (Dennis) Mateika, Douglas K. Carlson, Susan (Carlson) Slothower, Wendy (Carlson) Smiley, and Dean Carlson along with numerous cousins and family living in the US and Sweden. He is predeceased by his parents, Gunnar and Martha (Anderson) Carlson; two brothers, Wallace and Roland Carlson; and sister, Ingrid (Carlson) Dennis.

A family memorial will be held at a later date. Cremation rites accorded.
