Larry J. Dewey

Larry J. Dewey, 76, of Rockford passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018. Born April 26, 1942 in Rockford to Stanley and Clara Dewey. Self employed as a painter and was a member of Rockford Church of Christ. Larry enjoyed painting plastic canvas and building model cities and cars. His biggest love was Jesus and going to church. Larry was the oldest of the Dewey clan and the last survivor of his brothers and sisters.

Survivors include daughter, Emily Dewey; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; four brothers; and three sisters.

Memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in Rockford Church of Christ, 1141 20th Ave, Rockford with a potluck to follow.
