I knew none of this until today- that Kris had been sick and had passed away. I had the privilege of knowing his parents and teaching their children. I distinctly remember Kris as funny and fast. He lit up both classroom and track. And when he was student teacher, he contacted me to get a copy of a goofy song that I wrote and often played in the classroom, entitled "Sit Down Right Now." I wish more children would have had the privilege of being Kris' student. What an amazing guy! Now it's my turn to miss Kris.

I went to high school with Kris's dad, Lon? My heart is filled with tender thoughts for all of you this day and in the days to come. This is a loss that has touched so many people, indeed anyone with children or family of their own. How very brave he seemed in this, and how very sad he must have been. My thoughts and prayers for grace and loving memories to sustain you through your grief and loss.

Our hearts and prayers go out to your family through your loss. My children went to Whitman Post and saw Kris in the hallways which he always had a smile on his face. My son Nick has scoliosis and would talk about Mr. Grahnke and how he wanted to be like Mr. Grahnke always a happy person. He will be dearly missed.

I am so sorry to hear about this your loss. Kristoffer sounds like a wonderful person! Justin Romano was a student of mine when he was in elementary school. He was a very warm and loving boy. Kristoffer you understood 100% what it meant to be a teacher!!! God has marvelous plans for you yet, and in His kingdom you will experience that day by day......as God's days go! I am thankful for the parents and family who brought you into this world and cared for you. Dear loving wife, may your hurt be eased by Kristoffer's dedication to you and to LIFE!!!

Our thoughts and prayers are with Michelle, Kris, and family. I remember last year, after our family experienced a loss, Kris brought me (and his beautiful wife) flowers. Even while he had enough to deal with, I was amazed that he had thought of me. Joylyn
