Kerry Keller, Sr. Obituary

Kerry Keller, Sr., 83, died peacefully at home on Sunday, November 18, 2018. He was born August 27, 1935 in Rockford, IL, the son of Irving and Vivian Keller. Kerry was married to Carol (Berg) Keller for 58 years.  They had three children.  He was an Army veteran, worked at Rockford Products for over 32 years and a longtime member of the American Legion Robert C.A. Carlson Post 1207.  He was a proud blood donor (14+ gallons). He enjoyed bowling, fishing and watching the Chicago Bears.  He was also a tutor for The Literary Council.

Kerry is survived by his children Kerry II (Karen), Paul and Patrice; grandchildren, Chelsey (Chris) Paulson, Kate (Jim) Mohan, Daniel Keller and Laura Keller; great grandchildren, Evan, Brynn and Nora Paulson; Audrey Mohan; sister, Luella Heflin; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, Carol; parents; brother, Ivan Keller; daughter-in-law, Susan Keller; In-laws, Joel Berg and Helen Berg Erickson.

The family would like to give special thanks to daughter, Patrice Keller and to the staff of Northern Illinois Hospice for their care and support, the staff of Comfort Keepers, especially Audra and to the best neighbors you could ask for, Kevin and Mary.
