Keith Eugene Whitehead

Keith Eugene Whitehead, at the age of 73 of South Beloit peacefully joined our Lord on November 8, 2017. Born October 26, 1944 in Beloit, WI the son of Alfred (Barbara Maxson) Whitehead and Berta Dunning (Garland) Seeger. He proudly served his country as a Naval officer aboard the USS Forestal.  Keith was a faithful member of Berean Baptist Church in Rockford, IL for several years; there he considered most members family more than friends. He loved auctions, where he enjoyed finding all his treasured collectibles.

He is survived by his son, Gene Fowler; daughter, Rebecka Whitehead; sister, Sharyn Swenson; grandsons, Allen, Craig, Adam, Dylan; granddaughters, Candiss, Chloe; great grandchildren, Makaleigh, Kimberlynn; brother, Trow Fosnow; many nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins. A special thank you to Beloit Regional Hospice and the staff at Fair Oaks Nursing for all you did to make him comfortable. An extra special thank you to Carolyn Feldt who Keith believed was a true angel.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2017 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe with a visitation from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. He will be laid to rest in Floral Lawn Cemetery, South Beloit, IL.
