Keandra-Kiana R. Austin

Keandra-Kiana R. Austin, 27, was born to Justina and Kenneth Austin, Sr. in San Bernardino, CA on October 20, 1988.  Keandra and her babies departed this life together September 17, 2016.  They are V'Angelo (Poppa) Totty, born February 19, 2007; Keeryn (Dodda) Austin, born May 25, 2010 and Aliya Austin, born March 16, 2016. 

Their lives are remembered by her mother, Justina Austin; grandmother, Beverly Staller; godmother, Catherine Schocker; sons, Makai Austin and Benjamin Hicks; brother, Kenneth (Steph) Austin, Jr.; sisters, Kelani Austin, Kalilah (Kesha) Gatson, and Kaley Austin; many loved cousins, nieces and nephews, MyKaela, Elijah, Rhiannah, Aminah, Kyliah; aunt, Tomara (Bob) Mierow; uncle, Mark (DeeDee) Staller; best friend, Jess Snyder; special friend, Semonia Jensen; and many friends and family members.  Predeceased by father, Kenneth Austin, Sr, great grandmother, Grace Austin, and grandfather, Vern Staller.

A celebration of their lives will be held on Monday, September 26, at 11:00am in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 920 - 3rd Avenue, Rockford 61104.  A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 4:00pm on Sunday, September 25, in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions in their memory to the funeral home.  

The family will hold a candlelight vigil at 7:00pm on Monday, September 26, at Keandra's home, 2815 Garfield Drive, Rockford.
