Katherine J. Wisch

Katherine J. (Forbes) Wisch, 74, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018.  She was born in Chicago on November 12, 1943, the daughter of Walter and Evelyn Forbes. After living a short while in St. Louis and also in Cleveland, her family settled in Beloit in 1948.  Katherine graduated (with honors) from Beloit Memorial High School in 1961.  She was a member of the National Honor Society.  She loved to paint and was a good artist. Also with an aptitude for math, she became an accountant.  Katherine worked as an accountant for various businesses in Beloit for many years, finally working for Midwest Directories in Beloit until it ceased business operations.

She met and married Harold Wisch.  Together they raised two sons, John and James.  Katherine enjoyed their active home life, backing the boys in every way, from seeing John become an Eagle Scout to seeing Jim play the guitar and have his own band.
 
Katherine is survived by her husband, Harold; sons, John (Zil) Wisch and James (Angela) Wisch; grandchildren, Aiden, Adam, Ali and Ziva Wisch; sister, Barbara Hughes and several nephews and nieces.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Russell and Walter Forbes.

Celebration of Life be held on Thursday, May 10th, at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1531 Townline Ave, Beloit, WI.  Visitation at 10:30am and Funeral Service following at 11:00am.
