Judith Dennis Obituary

Judith Anne Dennis, 80, of Roscoe, Illinois died Friday, December 27, 2019 at her home. Born in Tomah, Wisconsin on July 22, 1939 to Earl and Esther (Nemitz) McCollough. Married James Dennis on December 10, 1960 in Rockford, Illinois. Jim and Judy lived in Rockford for many years before moving to St. James City, Florida upon Jim’s retirement. Judy was an avid Packer fan, her favorite player being Brett Favre. She enjoyed reading, gardening, putting together puzzles and watching old movies. She is a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, South Beloit, IL.

She worked at Illinois National Bank and Rockford Life Insurance Company in Rockford and retired from Bill Smith Appliances in Fort Myers, FL.

Judy returned to Roscoe 5 years ago to be closer to her family. Judy is loved and will be missed by her brothers Thomas (Janene) McCollough and Edward (Dorothy) McCollough, both of Roscoe, IL, sister Joanne Pingel of Janesville, WI and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband James Dennis, both parents, sister Monica McCollough and brother Patrick McCollough.
