John C. Alexander

John C. Alexander, 67, of Roscoe, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.  He was born in Rockford on November 23, 1955 to Betty and Clayton Alexander.  He married Linda Ehret on August 25, 1979 at Forest Hills Evangelical Free Church and they celebrated 44 years this past August.  He was a 1974 graduate of Hononegah High School in Rockton, IL ( Go Indians!).  John loved working with the Roscoe Lions Club with the Fall Festival.  He enjoyed being around family and friends and loved being around his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Alexander; children, Matthew (Wendy) Alexander and Sarah (Justin) Sabin; grandchildren, Juniper and Hudson Alexander and Erin and Clayton Sabin; sister, Cathy Alexander; and brother, Don (JoAnn) Alexander.  He is predeceased by his parents and sister, Chris Alexander.

A Visitation will be held from 10:30am to 11:30am with a Celebration of Life from 11:30am to 12:30pm with a luncheon following on Saturday, September 23, 2023 in Memorial Baptist Church, 7007 Flora Rd., Rockford, IL 61101.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church.
