Jack F. Willis, 86, of South Beloit, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019. He was born on April 15, 1933 in Chicago to John and Frances (Newsom) Willis. Jack married Vanieta Brown on January 19, 1968 in Freeport, Illinois. He had a passion for antiquing. He enjoyed antique cars and attending car shows. He also enjoyed his flowers, especially his hostas, watching birds and squirrels and going on Sunday drives. Jack was a member of AACA of America and President of the RVC Studebaker Drivers Club for 17 years.
Survivors include his wife, Vanieta Willis; children, Linda (Denny) Zimmerman of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Cathy (Art) DeZarn of Cheteck, Wisconsin, Mike Willis, Bryan Willis of Rockford, Terry Milroy of Machesney Park, Greg (Angel) Willis of South Beloit and Kelly (Randy) Rollie of Davis, IL; step-children, Chris Lockwood of Columbia, South Carolina, Richard Lockwood of Beloit, Wisconsin and Jack Lockwood of South Beloit; 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Predeceased by his parents; sister, Lynn Finkel; first wife, Josephine Lenora Canova; second wife, Lynda Nicholas.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main St., Roscoe, Illinois 61073. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Roscoe Chapel, with Rev. Phil Rice officiating. Burial in Rockton Township Cemetery.
