Harold W. Thorne

Harold W. Thorne, 66, of Milton, WI, departed this life into eternity on November 16, 2019 at Saint Mary's Hospital in Madison, WI.  He entered this life on January 26, 1953, the son of Harold H. Thorne and Elsie E. (Mauerman) Thorne.  Anyone who met Harold knew instantly that he loved God and his family.  He had a sense of humor and a compassionate heart.  One of his favorite activities was playing card and board games with family and friends.  Many hours were spent with his wife watching movies and playing with his dogs.  He enjoyed being creative in many things, including model trains, music and videos.  He took great pleasure in serving his local church in many aspects, including service production and security.

He is survived by his wife, Carrie Prell Thorne of Milton, WI; children, Michael (Heather) Thorne of Roscoe, IL, Elizabeth Thorne of Fitchburg, WI, Andrew (Christine) Thorne of South Beloit, IL; grandchildren, Amber (Brandon Outzen, fiance), Zack, Noah and Jedi Thorne; mother, Elsie E. (Mauerman) Thorne Keirn; brothers, Bruce (Ros) Keirn, Dennis (Jan) Keirn.  Predeceased by biological father, Harold H. Thorne; father, Harold E. Keirn; brother, Eugene Keirn.

Celebration of Life will be at 11:00am with a visitation from 10:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, November 23, 2019 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe, IL 61073. Private Family Burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
