Grace Vivian Blucher

Grace Blucher, 89, of Rockford, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018. She was born on February 22, 1929 in Brodhead, WI to William J. and Eva (Stephan) Wilson. She married Gilbert Blucher on August 10, 1950 in Rockford. Grace enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and playing bingo. 

Survivors include her daughter, Deb Blucher; grandchildren, Jennifer Marchione, Danielle (Brian) Graves and Timothy (Jackie) Blucher; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Delia Schoepfer, Joyce (Loyal) Johnson, Sharon Tenjum and Janet Dawsey; brother-in-law, Cecil McKinney. Predeceased by her parents; husband, Gilbert Blucher; son, Rick Blucher; 7 sisters and 4 brothers. 

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, Illinois 61111. Graveside service will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 8800 N. Alpine Rd., Machesney Park, Illinois 61115. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Northern Illinois Hospice.
