Edward J. Zurowski, Sr.

Edward "Ed" J. Zurowski, Sr., 82, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017. Ed was born February 15, 1935 to Jadwiga and Stanley Zurowski in Doniphan, Missouri.  He married Lily Jones on November 16, 1957. Ed worked for Harder Signs for 25 years and Berg Industries for 10 years after that.  He served in the U.S. Army for 4 years.  He was an avid gardener and loved to be outside all the time.  He was a great hunter and fisherman.  He loved everybody and if anyone needed anything, he was always there to help.  Everyone that met him loved him and his great sense of humor; he could always make you laugh.

He is survived by his wife, Lily; children, Eddie Zurowski, Michael Zurowski, Cindy (Dan) Dunn, Theresa (Dale) Larson and Christina (Eddie) Martin; grandchildren, Jordan, Alyssa, Sarah, Chris, Christopher, Eve, Michael, Melissa, Alli and Adam; great-grandchildren, Layten, Zachery and Talon; several brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service at 10:30am on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park.  Visitation will be Tuesday night from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the funeral home.  Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
