Edward F. St. Germain

Edward F. St. Germain, 76, of Machesney Park, IL passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 surrounded by his family.  Born on December 15, 1939 in Drummond Island, Michigan to Joseph and Harriet St. Germain.  He was later raised by his foster parents, John and Blondie Lester.  He married Nora Copeland on July 9, 1966.  He was formerly employed at Warner Electric for thirty years.

Survivors include his daughters, Kim (Jeff) McCullough, Shawn (Tim) Loos and Christy St. Germain; four grandchildren, Derek (Shannon) Nichol, Allison (Zach) McFadden, Chelsea (Zach Fiorenza) Loos; one great-granddaughter, Harper Jane; two special girls, Nazaelia and Maddie; several siblings, nieces, nephews and a host of adopted grandchildren.  Predeceased by wife, Nora; parents; foster parents; siblings and a grandson, Daron.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the OSF Cancer Center, OSF Hospice team, Gary and Janet, and anyone else who helped during this time.

Funeral service will be at 3:00pm with a visitation from 1:00pm until the service on Saturday, September 24, 2016 in Grace Family Church, 3202 Pleasant Valley Blvd., Rockford, 61114 with Pastor Keith Manley officiating.
