Dorothy Trank

Earth has sorrowfully lost a beautiful soul, Dorothy Trank, 90, of Rockford.  She passed  on Thursday, November 23, 2017 surrounded by her loved ones.  She was born on March 13, 1927 in Argyle, Wisconsin to Alfred and Helen Jennings. 

She was an affectionate and devoted wife to the predeceased Carl R. Trank, whom she married on June 24, 1944. She was an endearing and sacrificing mother to Sherry (Russ) Anderson, Robert (Janet) Trank, Michael (Tina) Trank, Debbie Borcean, Randy (Julie) Trank and Terry Trank.  A lighthearted and fun-loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. For 15 years, children at Beyer School were blessed to know Dot as their lunch lady.  She was a loving friend and inspiration to all who were privileged to know her. Her loving nature will remain in our hearts forever and heaven has blissfully found a beautiful soul.

Private family services will be held.   Arrangements provided by Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, Roscoe Chapel.
