Dorothee M. Erickson, 73, of Loves Park, passed away in her home on June 3, 2019. She was born June 5, 1945 in Rockford to Carl and Geraldine (Eddy) Specht. Dorothee was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
Dorothee leaves behind two daughters, Mary Ellen (James) Petersen of Fredericksburg, VA and Angela Hubler of Loves Park, IL; four sisters, Darlene (David) Jenkins of Madison, Wisconsin, Donna (Stan) Ross of Rockford, IL, Debbie Fry of Machesany Park, IL, Diane (John) Norton of Loves Park, IL; one brother, Darwin Specht of Freeport, IL; four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and many loved nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Carl and Geraldine Specht and brother, Darrell Specht.
A memorial luncheon will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Verdi Club, 782 North Madison Street, Rockford, IL 61107.
