Donald Earl Pfeiffer

Donald Earl Pfeiffer, 90, of Rockford, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017. He was born on April 24, 1927 in Easton, Pennsylvania to Edward Charles and Mable (Buck) Pfeiffer. Donald served in the United States Navy and the United States Air Force. He married Joann Stout in Casper, Wyoming. They were together over 40 years. Donald enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and his cats. He loved the Lord and faithfully went to Wednesday Worship at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church and watched Worship for Shut-Ins on Sundays. 

Survivors include his daughter, Jeanette Fowlks; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild; special friends, Aaron and Mary Remington. Predeceased by his parents; wife, Joann; brother. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 2001 N. Alpine Rd., Rockford, IL 61107.
