David Wayne Tunison

David Wayne Tunison, 73, of Rockford passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018. Born May 8, 1944 in La Crosse, WI to Ray and Olga (Leum) Tunison. Married Barbara Haugdahl on August 22, 1964 in Rockford. A member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and the Lombardi Club. David enjoyed fishing, baseball, and golfing.

Survivors include wife, Barbara Tunison; children, Mark (Cheryl) Tunison, Tracy (Phil Kitzman) Johnson; grandchildren, Alyssa and Trevor Tunison, Kelsey and Connor Johnson; mother, Olga Gossett; siblings, Terry (Mary) Tunison, DeEtte (Kent) Kleindl, Nancy Tunison; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 15, 2018 in Redeemer Lutheran Church, 827 16th Street, with a visitation from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
