Cynthia J. Fry

It is with great sadness that the family of Cynthia J. Fry, 56, of Loves Park, announces her passing following a courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday, January 3, 2019. Born April 30, 1962, in Whittier, CA, to Henry and Gloria (Smalley) Lessner. Cynthia was a loving and devoted mother of three children, Bradley, Thomas and David. Employed as a Senior Telecommunications Analyst with Landstar Systems, Cynthia enjoyed a lengthy and fulfilling career spanning nearly thirty years. She loved her work and the second family she would inherit over the years. Cynthia loved to travel and took every opportunity to do so, frequently visiting Las Vegas and Mexico.  Her love of country music was shared with everyone and she went to many concerts with friends and family whenever she could. Cynthia loved to spend time with her children, family and close friends, making her home open for all to come together. She truly was and still is the glue that keeps us together she and will be deeply missed.

Cynthia is survived by her children, Bradley (Bethany), Thomas (Erin) and David (Ashley); father, Henry B. Lessner, Sr. (Marilyn); brothers, Hank, Jr., Don (Lynn) and Bob (Amanda); sister, Kim; and grandchildren. Predeceased by her mother and grandparents.

Memorial Visitation will be held from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, January 19, 2019 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park 61111. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
