Clare Sullons

Clare M. Sullons, 94, of Rockford, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017.  Born on October 30, 1922 in Malden, Massachusetts to Anthony and Antoinette D'alessandro. She married Ralph Sullons and together they shared 67 years of marriage before he passed away on August 2, 2012.  Together they owned several restaurants in Rockford and Forreston.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking, casinos and music, and most of all her family.

She is survived by children, Carol (Don) Mayer, Charles Sullons, Ralph (Georgia) Sullons and Tim (Renee) Sullons; grandchildren, William Silver, Deborah Silver, Michael Silver, Richard Mayer, Stephen (Felicia) Mayer, Susan (Randy) Mayer-Decker; 11 great-grandchildren.

A very special thank you to her granddaughter, Debbie Silver and friend, Penny Kenney for all they did for Clare.  Also to Alden Park Strathmoor staff and Family Home Health Hospice.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, May 19, 2017 in Honquest Family Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park, IL 61111.
