Bonnie E. Carlson

Bonnie E. Carlson, 91, of Rockford, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018 surrounded by her family.  Born in Rockford on June 8, 1926 to Ernest O. and Selma (Dumholt) Carlson; married G. Albert Carlson, Jr. on June 3, 1948 in Rockford.  Bonnie was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Rockford Women's Club, and Forest Hills Country Club.  She enjoyed spending time with the "high school Club Girls", traveling with family and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Priscilla (William) Dwyer of Chillicothe, IL, Melissa (Bradd) Marsden of Loves Park and Charles (Jennifer) Carlson of San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Dr. Nick (Dr. Laramie Winfield) Carlson, Ryan Carlson, and their mother, Kathy Carlson, and Justin Dwyer; great-grandchildren, Benjamin Carlson and William Carlson; and several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents; husband; sisters, Helen Lund and Wauneta Jensen; and brother, Robert Carlson.

A private family service will be held.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Rockford Rescue Mission.
