Belva I. Jones

Belva I. Jones, 96, of Rockford passed away Friday, September 8, 2017. Born March 1, 1921 in Madison, Wisconsin to Homer and Ida (Goplen) McDermott. Married Gerald Jones in Richland Center, WI. Belva enjoyed quilting and puzzles.

Survivors include 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Gladys, Luella, Ester; brother, Alfred; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband; children, Marie, Ralph; sisters, Ruth, Letha; and brother, Everett.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2017 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2017 in the funeral home.
