Alexandria "Allie" Ann Dobyns

Alexandria “Allie” Ann Dobyns, 24, of Durand passed away Friday, November 30, 2018. Born May 7, 1994 to Alisa Southard and Michael Dobyns. A graduate of Rochelle High School. Allie loved the outdoors, fishing, music, dancing and anything with owls. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and outgoing personality. Most of all, she loved spending time with her friends and family.

Survivors include parents, Alisa and Paul Fortson; biological father, Michael (Lori) Dobyns; siblings, Nichole (Justin) Weld, Victoria (Aaron) Fortson, Blaze Dean Fortson, Jayden Dobyns; paternal grandmother, Gardia Thurow; paternal grandparents, Mammy and Pappy Fortson; aunt, Laura De’Vries; uncle, Christopher Potter; love of her life, Jameson Ames and his entire family; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by maternal grandparents, Kathy Potter, Stephen Southard; and uncles, Jeffrey Cox, and Brian Swartz. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Fortson and Ames families for all their love and unconditional support.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 in the White Eagle Club of Rockford, 235 15th Avenue, Rockford. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family.
