William Vandersteeg

William Vandersteeg, 65, of Rockford, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017. He was born on May 2, 1952 in Rockford to Harold and Carolyn Vandersteeg. On December 2, 1994 he married Martha Peterson in St. Charles, Illinois. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. William enjoyed all his flowers in his backyard as well as cooking and spending time in the kitchen. 

Survivors include his wife, Martha Vandersteeg; son, Daniel (Tina) Burns; brothers, Greg Vandersteeg, Steve Vandersteeg and Jeff Vandersteeg; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; brothers, Doug Vandersteeg and John Vandersteeg.
