Wayne "Bud" L. McNeil

Wayne "Bud" L. McNeil, 84, of Roscoe, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017. He was born on December 30, 1932 in Galesburg, Illinois to George W. and Melvina (Ralston) McNeil. Bud married Carolyn Tingley on June 7, 1953 in Galesburg, Illinois. They have been together for 64 years. Bud served in the United States Air Force. Before his career at Outboard Marine Corporation, he was a meat cutter in Galesburg and Abington. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening, as well as old western movies, sudoku books and square dancing with his wife, Carolyn. Bud had a strong faith and never met a stranger. His number one enjoyment was spending time with his family. 

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; children, Kathy (Roberta) McNeil, Eddy McNeil, Tina (Jerry) Schulz and Penny McNeil; grandchildren, Robby (Allison), Jodi (Chad), Tory (Tricia), Jimmy (Christin) and Jeremy; great-granchildren, Tyler, Justin, Payton, Allyson, Hadley, Paisley, Jackson and Madeline; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and six brothers and sisters.
