Victor G. Bourgord

Victor G. Bourgord, 76, of Rockford passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018. Born April 2, 1941 in Necedah, WI to Vernon and Mable (Bauer) Bourgord. A veteran of the US Army. Married Nancy Jackson June 29, 1968 in Rockford. Retired after 30 years from Chrysler. Victor enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being outdoors.

Survivors include wife, Nancy Bourgord; children, Pennie (John) Moraska, Victor (Barb) Bourgord, Christine (Dale Brandt) Pratt, Patrick Bourgord, Nancy (Chris) Mickle; 10 grandchildren; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; parrot, Barney; and dog, Sophie. Predeceased by parents; and 10 siblings.

Memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2018 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family to be used in Victor’s name at a later date.
