Thomas Shull

Thomas Shull, 59, of Rockford passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Tom was a well-respected carpenter and was very good at his craft. He always took pride in what he did. He was an avid Chicago Bear’s and Cub’s fan. Hopefully, this is the year for the Cub’s as we can celebrate his memory. Tom had a personality that could light up a room, he always knew how to make you laugh!

Tom was a proud father to his amazing three children, who he loved to talk about, Kevin, Ben, and Nicole. They always came first, and he would defend and protect them with his all. He is also survived by his siblings, Janet (Dave) Berger, Jim (Cindy) Shull, Mary Sue (Bill) McClain, Bridget Shull, John (Shelly) Shull; several cherished nieces, nephews; and a wonderful loving circle of friends. Predeceased by parents, James and Betty Shull; and sister, Ann. Special thanks to Winnebago County Housing Authority, and to Northern Illinois Hospice.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2016 in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Tom has now gone to a better place and he will never be forgotten. We love you so much Dad! – Kevin, Ben, and Nicole
