I had the wonderful pleasure of knowing both Stu and Dimmie for over 35 years, mostly through our connections with Keith Country Day School. Stu always had a smile for me and of course a great joke. He was a familiar face at the U Club and always so positive. He was often the top bidder for my rhubarb pies that were auctioned off at so many Keith Benefit events.....often a bidding war between the Wellers and the Eggers. I can close my eyes and see that smile. Such a great man.....who will be certainly missed. My sympathies to his family.

I currently serve on the executive committee for the Board of Trustees of Keith Country Day School. I only knew Stuart by reputation. I know that he served our community with diligence and hard work. From the Keith Community, we wish to express our condolences at his passing. His legacy at Keith will not be forgotten. God speed.

Stu was my friend and a long time friend and supporter of Keith Country Day School. He was always there for the school through fire and flood. Stu had a wonderful sense of humor, a love of life and adventure, and a love and devotion not only to his family but also his friends. His contributions to Rockford are many. His was a life well lived.
