Steven L. Orr

Steven L. Orr, 69, of Rockford passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in the VA Hospital in Madison, WI. Steve was born in Anamosa, Iowa to Harold and Margaret "Peg" Orr.  He was a veteran of the US Army. Steve enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He also loved to spend time with his family, friends, and especially his grandchildren.
 

Survived by his wife of 48 years, Elna; daughter, Jodi (Frank) Mateus; son, Todd (Kristina) Orr; grandson, Elijah Orr; granddaughter, Annika Orr; sister, Kim Orr; sisters-in-law, Chris Orr and Deb Orr; brothers-in-law, Norm (Lynn) Hallgren, Bruce (Mary) Hallgren; nieces, Katy (Facundo) Agriel, Sarah (Shawn) Parker, Carrie (Steve) Drinkwine; nephews, Derek Orr, Matthew Hallgren, Justin Hallgren, Nathan Hallgren; great-nephew, Jacob Drinkwine; great-niece, Grace Drinkwine; and life-long best friend, Mick (Arlene) Calhoun. Predeceased by his parents; brothers, Craig Orr and Kevin "Cub" Orr.

Per Steve’s request, no funeral service will be held.
