Scott Alan Alcock, 48, of Rockton passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017. Born January 13, 1969 in Rockford to Richard and Sheila (Hayes) Alcock. Employed as a software engineer. He was awarded a patent in high school. Scott enjoyed sailing, flying, and gardening.

Survivors include parents, Dick and Sheila Alcock; brother, Todd (Lu) Alcock; niece, Autumn Alcock; uncles, Paul Hayes, Alan Hayes; and many friends. Predeceased by brother, Brian; paternal grandparents, Reginald and Naomi Alcock; and maternal grandparents, Paul and Leitha Hayes.

Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2017 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe with a visitation from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Private family burial in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Salvation Army or the American Heart Association.
