Robert "Bob" L. Tucker

Robert "Bob" L. Tucker, 76, of Rockford, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 23, 2018 with his family by his side following a sudden stroke.  He was born in Tupelo, MS on September 14, 1941, the son of Elijah and Zora (Downey) Tucker.  He married Sharon Moore on May 26, 1978.  Bob managed multiple facilities for plastic injection molding, including Arachnid.  He was currently a part-time driver for Sunrise.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and going to casinos and he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Sharon; sons, Robbie (Gina), Brian (Deanna) and Clinton (Sara); eight grandchildren; two sisters, Martha and Sue; and many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents; son, Charles and 3 brothers.

Funeral service will be at 1:30pm with a Visitation from 11:00am until the service on Friday, April 27, 2018 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park 61111.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
