Richard Pauls Obituary

Richard C. Pauls, 91, of Rockford passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018. Born in Rockford to Charles and Ethel (Schelin) Pauls. A veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War. Worked in the food and beverage industry for his family business. Dick enjoyed working in the yard especially with flowers, golfing and reading mystery novels. He was also a member of First Evangelical Covenant Church in Rockford.

Survivors include sister-in-law, Charlene Pauls of Hot Springs Village, AR; nephew, Rob Pauls; cousins; and special friend, Dee Moberg. Predeceased by parents; and brother, Bob Pauls. A special thanks to OSF Hospice for their loving care. A very special thank you to nurse Elizabeth, who did so much for Dick.

Private graveside services in Arlington Cemetery, Rockford. Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park is honored to have assisted the family.
