Richard James Miller

Richard James Miller, 74, of Roscoe passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017. Born October 5, 1943 in Dayton, OH to Leo and Mary (Hery) Miller. A veteran of the US Marines serving during the Vietnam War. Married Judith Ann Carrico on January 7, 1962 in Ringgold, GA. Retired from Precision Product Group as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Richard enjoyed fishing, hunting, singing, football and spending time with his family.

Survivors include wife, Judith Ann Miller of Roscoe; son, Tyrone Richard (Jacqueline) Miller of Rockton; daughter, Gina Carrico (Michael) Jay; grandchildren, Margaret, Claire, Mary Miller, Jonah, Elijah Jay; sister, Barbara (Charles) Tudor; brother, Henry (Ethel) Miller; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; and sisters, Mary Ann (Jewell) Story, Alice (Frank) Wolfrum.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2017 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe with Pastor Dan Herman of Old Stone Church, Rockton officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, PO Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502.
