Reynaldo Ibarra

Reynaldo Ibarra, 57, of Rockford passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Born November 13, 1959 in Lubbock, TX to Jose and Jesusa (Gomez) Ibarra. A veteran of the US Army serving during peacetime. Married Margie Aranda on November 14, 1981 in Elkhorn, WI. Self-employed as an auto mechanic. Reynaldo loved all his dogs, and enjoyed fishing and hunting for morels with them. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He was a “jack of all trades” enjoyed working on cars, always being remembered for his work ethic but also for being a “party animal.” Reynaldo also enjoyed photography and collecting antiques. Most of all, he was proud of his three children, and his wife was the love of his life.

Survivors include wife, Margie Ibarra of Rockford; children, Ruben (Lilia) Ibarra of Chicago, Mellisa (Beau) Bilodeau of Roscoe, Adan Ibarra of Bolingbrook; grandchildren, Ariana, Michael, Neveah, Tyler, and one granddaughter on the way; father, Jose Ibarra; siblings, Ricardo Ibarra, Sanjuana (Lupe) Diaz, Angie Ibarra, Josie Ibarra, Maey Ibarra. Predeceased by mother; brothers, Rudolfo, Antonio; and grandson, Junior.

Memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2017 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park.
