Rae Ann Jones

Rae Ann Jones, 74, of Loves Park passed away Thursday, December 21, 2017. Born February 27, 1943 in Rockford, the daughter of Frank and Dolores (Smith) LeFevre. A graduate of Harlem High School Class of 1961. Married Herbert Jones July 17, 1965 in Rockford. Formerly employed in sales by Rockford Dry Goods. Rae Ann enjoyed camping, cruises, vacationing, traveling by train, loved going to the beach, and quality time with her dog, Hannah. Most of all, she enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren. She was not only our mom, she was our best friend! Mom will be in Jehovah’s loving memory. We will reunite with you in paradise. Love – Kim, Dawn, and Darcy.

Survivors include daughters, Kimberly Jones, Dawn (Aron) Jones–Dutenhafer, Darcy Jones–Nelson; grandchildren, Raven, Hunter, Kylie, Lance; siblings, Sandy Siverly, Deanna (Jim) Ross, Frank (Moonyean) LeFevre; brother-in-law, Ralph (Loretta) Jones; and sister-in-law, Jan (Bob) Daniels. Predeceased by parents; husband, Herbert Jones; and several brothers-in-law.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park with a service starting at 1:30 p.m. Private family burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be given to the American Lung Association at www.lung.org
