Patricia Joy Parrish

Patricia Joy Parrish, 82, of Rockford passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015. Born November 2, 1933 in Cedar Rapids, IA to Tony and Eva Sandboe, and raised in Galesville, WI. Married Lowell Parrish on August 15, 1953 in Forrest Park, GA. Previously employed as a switch board operator for Bell Telephone and Swedish American Hospital. Former member of Elim Baptist Church, Rockford. Patricia enjoyed her Maltese dogs, growing Christmas Cactus, and Waterford Crystal. Most of all, she enjoyed making a home for her family and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Survivors include husband, Lowell Parrish of Rockford; children, Fred Parrish of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Deborah (David) McKeeth of Helena, MT, Tim (Maria) Parrish of Rockford, Anne (Jeff) Weisheit of Loves Park; grandchildren, Ashley (Joe) Belson, Jake Parrish, Nathan McKeeth, Sam McKeeth, Hannah (Pete Westerberg) McKeeth, Aaron (April) McKeeth, Kate McKeeth, Jaye (Matt) Roeling, Rachel Weisheit, Kelly (Neil) Bloom, April  Weisheit; great grandchildren, Adam Belson, Elizabeth Belson, Delilah Boberg, Archer McKeeth, Temperance McKeeth; sisters, Anna McClung, and June Gamoke. Predeceased by parents; granddaughter, Amber Parrish; brothers, Vilas “Buzz” Sandboe, Halmer Sandboe; sisters, Effie May Andrews, and Bonnie Espe.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory - Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 30, 2015 in the funeral home. Burial at Arlington Cemetery.
