Norma Jane Daniels

Norma Jane Daniels, 84, of Rockford passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017. Born May 27, 1932  in Wichita, KS to Henry and Lillian (Schneider) Lutschg. Employed as a sales associate for Bergner’s, retiring after 20 years. Norma enjoyed playing bridge, cooking, traveling, and loved spending time with her family. She was known for her generosity, kindness, caring, and her love and willingness to help others. Norma was a spiritual warrior and prayed for anyone in need.

Survivors include children, Deborah (Nick) Chabucos, Robert (Becky) Daniels, Curtis (Linda) Daniels; grandchildren, Audra (Michael) Humy, Ryan Chabucos, Bob Daniels, Jr., Derrick Daniels, Justin Carter; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; and sisters, Vera Baker and Doris Pursifull.

Memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017 in Greencastle, formerly known as Christian Life Retirement Center of Mulford, 2750 N. Mulford Road, inside the dining room with a visitation from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Church parking available. A celebration of life will immediately follow the memorial service until 2:00 p.m. The family is forever grateful for the gracious care from the caregivers and all the CLRC personnel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family to be used in Norma’s name at a later date.
