Nancy May

Nancy May, 72, of Loves Park, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017. She was born on November 1, 1944 in Elgin, IL to Frank and Marie Flanders. Before retiring, Nancy worked at Northwest Bank for 34 years. Her favorite hobbies were attending craft fairs, shopping, lighting her house with cinnamon candles, playing board games with her grandsons and watching her favorite drama shows on tv. During the summer months Nancy enjoyed planting and watering her flowers and attending Starlight performances at Rock Valley College with her friends from work.

Survivors include her daughters, Cindy Larson and Lori Tillman; grandchildren, Michael, Michelle, Katie, Drew and Cody; great-grandchild, Aegaeon. Predeceased by her parents.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
